With a luscious overlay of 6 inch wide black floral lace accented with beads and sequins, this vintage Scott McClintock off-shoulder dress is feminine, flattering and fit for a vintage-inspired event. As wearable today as it was when first sold in the 1980s, McClintock dresses were well known for their designer touches.

As you can see in the photos this dress is too large for my model, so it is clipped in the back to better show the dress design. That beige clip is visible in the video and in some photos.

The lace is some of the prettiest, with sheer areas, cutout sections and thick black open work floral intricate details. The sequins and beading emphasizes those aspects of the lace.

In the photos I show it worn with a lovely rhinestone necklace. Please be aware the necklace is not part of this listing and only the dress is being sold here. That necklace is shown to give you an idea of how you can personalize this dress in your own style.

As can be seen in the photos, the shiny fabric has a pattern-on-pattern floral design. This dress is fully lined, with a back zipper and top hook and eye. There is back center 6 inch kick pleat.

It is sleeveless, however the lace portion will cover the top part of your arms due to the off-the- shoulder and lace overlay construction.

This dress is very well made and it remains in Very Good Vintage Condition.

One thing worth mentioning is that the original owner had this altered slightly to better fit her own figure. Those alternations were done on the top inside seams. There are no issues with the lace, the beading or the external fabric.
