Fantastic 1950s Jeanne Lanvin Castillo Paris wool basket weave mohair blend coat with a large shawl collar, wide sleeves, and two pockets. It closes with a snap and a belt that ties at the waist. There is also an inner belt that cinches the waist (fastens across the waist with a hook eye). The belt fits approximately 28 (29''max) waist, but is optional. The coat is fully lined in silk taffeta fabric.

The exterior of the coat presents without holes, stains, or discoloration. The interior has a few small holes to the lining near the hem that are unseen when worn. There is a small, imperceptible separation repair at the neck where the lining meets the collar.

A gorgeous, lush, stylish and rare coat by a coveted designer; a true collector's item. She is heavy and warm!
