This dress is a lovely example of 1950's fashion. Light pink day dress with white lacey embroidered bodice. Shirt dress, collar, and button-down front with snaps at waist. Truly unique vintage, Sz Medium

No one else will have this. The best part of vintage, recycling clothing creates less impact on our planet through less demand and less waste, and doesn't add to fast fashion!

I believe that this fabric is silk because of the sheerness and uneven weave. It has a satiny like quality but the feel is that of an extremely thin wool. Another possibility is viscose, or "fake silk". It's a lovely fabric either way and the pleating in the skirt is somewhat permanent. The embroidery is missing a few minor stitches under the left bust on over the right shoulder but you'd have to really inspect it to see.
