Featuring a fabric Shadowline calls "Cuddlemere", this vintage never worn Shell Pink pajama set is accented with pink scroll embroidery on the yoke. A row of ruffled narrow white lace further trims the yoke edge. Buttons line the front of the top, which has long sleeves and front pleats below the yoke. Full length, the pants have an elastic waist. An original price tag is attached which describes this color as Shell Pink.

The tag identifies this vintage Shadowline pajama set as a size Small, however please refer to the exact measurements to determine if this will fit you as sizing has changed over the years.

On the back side of the paper tag the nylon fabric type is listed as "Cuddlemere" which they state is "Shadowline's exclusive fabric designed with two perfect sides. The fine luxurious side you see. The cashmere soft side you feel. Machine wash and dry. Little or no shrinkage. Made in USA."

Laundry instructions show that this can be laundered, however since this set still has its paper tag, I have not laundered it.

Shadowline was a lingerie company, located in Morganton, North Carolina. It was founded in 1946 by Sherrod Salsbury, Jr. The company had the reputation of producing lingerie of very high quality.

This was an original Salesroom sample, meant to be displayed in a Shadowline showroom. That is where department store and boutique lingerie buyers would come to see what was available to order. The salesroom is where they could buy merchandise in bulk for a future season.

This classic never worn Shadowline Cuddlemere set remains in Pristine Mint Vintage condition.
