Featuring a lovely lace trim and lace yoke, this Shadowline nylon vintage never worn pink pajama set still has its original 1986 paper hang tag. The short sleeve top is button front, with a V-neck and front right side pocket. Sleeves are inset onto the rounded yoke. Elastic waist pants are full length.

In several photos I show a detailed close up of the yoke and front trim, which has a sweet feminine floral lace design on quilted fabric.

Laundry instructions show that this can be laundered, however since this set still has its paper tags, I have not laundered it.

These pajamas were original Salesroom samples, meant to be displayed in a Shadowline showroom. That is where department store and boutique lingerie buyers would come to see what was available to order. The salesroom is where they could buy merchandise in bulk for a future season.

Shadowline was a lingerie company, located in Morganton, North Carolina. It was founded in 1946 by Sherrod Salsbury, Jr. The company had the reputation of producing lingerie of very high quality.

Never worn, this classic Shadowline PJ set remains in pristine As New vintage condition.
