, oversized (extremely large and heavy) decorative hand painted wooden Japanese bowl. This piece is one-of-a-king and strikingly beautiful. We were lucky enough to acquire it from a world traveler who collected cultural artifacts from around the world and kept them in excellent condition in an affluent area of the Pacific Palisades in California. This piece of artwork came by way of Japan and was hand made from one heavy piece of solid wood. The wood was then finished with a beautiful lacquer. The underside is solid black and the top is brown, painted with wood grain texturizing details. Beautiful, elegant cherry blossom tree branches are hand painted throughout the top in metallic silver. It would be the perfect centerpiece for a large coffee table or large dining room table. It is even more amazing in person.

Condition:
Excellent condition with very minor surface ware. No structural issues.
