Oh c'mon, it's not ugly! There ARE those who would call this an "Ugly Christmas sweater" but it won't win you any "Ugly Sweater" contests, because it's actually rather pretty...well I thought so. So many details. If you wonder about the process, it's quite interesting, so see below**
Handknit black cotton/ramie blend with gold beads, clear beads, pearl beads and more. Embroidery in many colors, including metallic gold. Felt heart appliques and more beads. Lots of dimension. Buttons down front with embroidered and beaded buttons too. Small shoulder pads. Dated on the label!. It is used of course, but there are no stains or flaws. Stated size is petite but check the measurements! It measures more like a medium. When you do, keep in mind that this has dropped shoulders, making the shoulder measurement wide and the sleeves seem short. ONE NOTE: the beaded buttons are very pretty but the beads make it hard to button them. You may want to keep it buttoned and use as pullover...

**Tiara sweaters are hand-knit in China, but in pieces! A designer from Maine (who doesn't knit) makes up the patterns and thousands of women in china knit them in pieces. In one remote village, women are knitting the fronts, in another village, the backs, in another the sleeves. Men on bicycles and in ramshackle trucks pick them up and take them to factory where they are further embroidered and embellished and then sewn together.
