In a sweet pastel shade Shadowline calls "Peach" this vintage never worn 2-piece nylon full length peignoir set has a matching robe plus nightgown. V-neck style, both the sheer front yoke of the nightgown and the robe are a floral lace accented with very pretty delicately done embroidery flowers, plus three fabric-covered buttons. For the gown these buttons are decorative only. For the robe, these are functioning buttons, with eight of them down the robe's front.

Tags identify these both as a size Small, however please refer to the exact measurements to determine if this will fit you as sizing has changed over the years. This set is generously cut, so it may even easily fit a size Modern contemporary woman.

There are cap style short flutter sleeves in the gown, with the A-line body of the gown lightly gathered onto the sheer lace yoke.
As the photos show, this robe has the same floral lace yoke details. It is also A-line and has two hidden side pockets.
In several photos I show a detailed close up of the bodice and the front detail with the robe worn over the gown. I show the robe both open and closed so you can see how it looks each way.
This original paper hang tag has the slogan "Shadowline, Lingerie you'll like near you" and have the drawing of a 1950's era fashionable woman wearing a cinched waist full gown.
When this was made, back in the 1980's, the retail price for the gown was $38 and for the robe it was $49, so the combined price for this set was $87. During that era this would have been a set purchased in a higher end department store.
On the back side of the paper tag the nylon fabric type is listed as "Satin Lustre" which is described as "Shadowline's luxurious fabric of 100% Nylon designed for bright lustre and pearlized glow with the touch and shimmer of finest satin."
Laundry instructions show that this can be laundered, however since this set still has its paper tags, I have not laundered it. For a longer life for your garments, I always recommend hanging beautiful vintage lingerie to dry and not putting it in the dryer. Views of the backs are also shown.
This classic never worn peignoir nylon 2-piece set (worn only briefly for these photos) remains in Mint Pristine Vintage condition.
