Vintage necklace 5 strand faux pearls opalite goldtone beads Japan

This five strand necklace is marked JAPAN on the silvertone aluminum hook and each strand is on string. End reducers are silvertone, swooshy and textured, probably also aluminum.

Each strand is similar, but maybe a little different with size or style of beads. The shortest strand is 16 inches, the longest one 22. There is also a three inch extender in rosary style chain with beads,.

Beads:

spacers, clear 8/0 seed beads
White lumpy, 6, 8 and 9mm--glass
pearlized beads, creamy, probably plastic
matte ones 6 and 8mm
shiny ones dimpled, 8 up to 12mm
opalite or glass in a shimmering clear but milky color. Sort of nugget in several sizes about 8mm mostly

This is a heavy necklace. The strands hang one under the other, evenly spaced. Strings are still white although there is grime on the knots where they attach to the end reducers.

Statement piece - spectacular! Normal wear for vintage, maybe a bit less considering the age.
