Necklace goldtone mesh 2 round strands faux seed pearls 14 in JAPAN

Take a look at the end reducers - - where the two strands of necklace come together; these are called 'sailboat ends' and I have never seen any more beautiful! Yes, when done right, they look like little sailboats. Made of brushed goldtone metal, one has a 2 1/2 inch pearl extender chain, while the other has a J-hook. On the boat part of one, the word JAPAN identifies the country of origin, and pretty much places the time frame (following WWII, as Japan rebuilt with our help).

As to the necklace - wowee--it is made of rolled goldtone mesh with seed pearls diagonally in the seams. Heavy and glittery.

The shortest of the two strands is 14 inches (we were all smaller then).

Wonderful for vintage; some of the seed pearls are growing dim, but think of the stories they could tell...
