DESCRIPTION: Great summer hat inspired by Audrey Hepburn's famous "Breakfast at Tiffany’s" hat! This navy-blue, woven-straw hat, ca. 1970s (possibly into the '80s), features a sculpted, curved brim with semi-rigid construction, a more interesting look than a plain flat brim. There's a wide (about 2 1/4") navy-and-white grosgrain ribbon at the crown, accented with a thin-ribbon bow in the same colors.

SIZE: About a size 22, but not labeled. Measures approx. 21″ in diameter around base of crown where the petersham ribbon is stitched. I take a 22" hat, and I can wear this, but it's a bit snug. The brim is 4 1/4" at its widest. Crown is approx. 5" high in the center.

CONDITION: Excellent. Hat is clean; looks barely worn. The outside looks near mint to mint. On the underside of the brim, there is a thin line where the double-layered straw is peeling apart slightly, or has loose ends. Actually looks as if it might be a seam, not a flaw. Not visible when hat is worn.
