Very vintage, Native American fetish necklace featuring carved shell birds accented with branch coral pieces. Stand alone, small but mighty choker or incorporate this lovely piece into a fantastic layering of liquid silver pieces. 18” long. Birds are approximately 1” wide. We love the double faced aspect of this piece; on one side the birds glimmer in their abalone shell surface and on the other, we see orange, cream and brown shell surfaces. It looks like the spring ring is a replacement. The tube beads and silver spacers have lots of patina. Not magnetic. We are not sure if they are sterling or not. They appear a bit copperish but started polishing up to reveal silver. Unique, bird fetish, vintage necklace.
