The volumes are in beautiful vintage shape considering they are 100 years old. Covers are very nice, not scratched all up or fading. No rips, some stains from children using. One book has a small separation in the binding but it's not falling apart of disconnected. Beautiful bright color illustrations. No pen or ink marks, or scribbles. Super clean and proudly cared for by my mother, inscribed with my mothers name and date in front of every book - HISTORY. Pretty end binding when placed on shelf. This is not ex library. One owner. These books were loved and read by a child but in very nice vintage condition.
