From St. Michael, in a pretty mellow yellow nylon, this 1960's era vintage slip features a 5 inch wide pleated hem and bodice with that same pleated fabric. Extra Small, by today's standards, it is labeled as Bust size 30. In addition to the pleating details, there is white floral lace trim in the bust area and around the top of the pleated hem. The spaghetti straps are not adjustable.

I did not measure the width of the 5 inch pleated section because that figure would be much wider due to the nature of the pleats.

This was made in the 1960's before laundry instructions were mandatory on labels, so there are none here. However, it is made of nylon, and can be machine washed. I always recommend hanging vintage lingerie to dry because I feel that helps it stay lovely for an even longer life.

It will come to you freshly laundered and ready to wear.

It is still in Good Vintage condition, especially considering its age.

The one issue to report is that it was apparently washed with some darker color lingerie, which faded slightly onto the left lower side. That is shown in the close up photos and the video. Of course it will not show when you wear this as a slip, but I do want to make any potential new owner aware of it. Due to that grayish stain I have marked this otherwise terrific slip much lower in price than it would normally be.

All the seams are intact and there are no stains, snags or holes.
