Vintage mid century colorful lidded dragonfly tea cups, hand made & hand painted in Japan. This ultra MCM set of four will add some whimsical glam to your home during coffee / tea time. The mugs are short and round in shaping with subtle indentions around (making it easy to hold with your fingers). The bodies and the lids were made with neutral off-white shade background and have stunning hand painted dragonflies in navy blue, deep red, and metallic gold. Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The porcelain has minor crazing consistent with age. When you run your finger over the crazing, it is smooth. There are no actual cracks or chips. Hand painting and gold accents are in great condition with little to no fading or ware.
