The 2 heavy duty aluminum platters are meant to go straight from the oven to the table. The wooden chargers prevent heat damage to your table and have an indention on them so the aluminum plates stay in place. They are highly durable, easy to clean, and were built to last a lifetime. They are perfect for kebabs, fajitas, steak, or any items that are meant to be serving sizzling hot. These sets were extremely popular in the mid century era. The undersides of the aluminum are marked by the maker, "AC Fabricators Gardena Calif". These pieces are larger and more substantial than most which were made in the mid century!
