mid century set of 4 hand thrown York Rose Pottery dishes, made in England. Each of these beautiful pieces of pottery art was hand thrown, hand made, and hand painted in the 1970's. They are a deep brown color with a glazed finished. The dishes are unique because they were made with real leaves, grown in York England - so the imprints are intricate, natural, and one of a kind! The bottoms are marked "YORK ROSE" and "HAND THROWN". They also have original stickers that read "A REAL LEAF, GROWN IN YORK HAS BEEN USED FOR THIS DESIGN. THE POTTER'S WHEEL, YORK." Excellent unused condition.
