This set includes 4 authentic Williamsburg Pewter cups by Kirk Stieff Co, made in Baltimore, Maryland. They are simple in their Colonial design, yet stylish for any bar set. Three of the cups are more squared while one is more rounded, but all have the same stripe work design. The bottoms are marked "Williamsburg Stieff Pewter with the companies logo. There are no monograms on these cups, which is rare to find. You could add your own monogram or let their simplicity shine. Below is an interesting bit of info we found on the original paperwork that comes with the set, Cheers!

"The art of the pewterer reached its height during the 17th and 18th centuries. From many fine examples of Pewterers' Work which are displayed in the Exhibition Buildings of Colonial Williamsburg, a Number of outstanding Pieces have been selected for Reproduction. These Reproductions are fashioned by the skilled Craftsmen of the Kirk Stieff Company and proudly bear the Hallmark of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Made of the finest quality Pewter, these approved Reproductions will retain their luster if periodically hand washed and thoroughly dried. Pewter has a melting point of approximately 450 degrees and should not be exposed to direct flame. Do not permit candles to burn down into holder, or place vessels over flame or burner."

Condition:
Great condition with no dents or chips. Minor patina that can be left or polished - up to you!
