This eye catching set came from a very wealthy Japanese family's estate in Pasadena, CA. They were collectors of amazing and antique pieces...all direct from Japan. This set is ultra MCM in appearance and was made and hand painted in Japan in the 1960s. The top sides have thick metallic gold rims and very deep dark green (almost black) and taupe geometric backgrounds with beautiful foliage motifs hand painted in metallic gold. The back sides are solid, high gloss black in color. The high quality craftsmanship and unique design will be perfect for serving or display in your asian, mid century, or hollywood regency home!
