Vintage mid-century authentic Fieldfare houndstooth harris tweed wool bucket hat. This beautiful piece was hand crafted by Fieldfare in Gt. Britain out of handwoven Scottish grown wool. The hat is in a classic bucket shape with a subtle belt accent with an understated brown faux hardware buckle. The luxurious harris tweed boasts a houndstooth pattern in shades of olive green and beige. The inside has a beautiful plaid fabric lining in shades of beige, olive green, and navy blue. It has one label in the top of the hat that reads, "Fieldfare, Pure New Wool, Made in Gr. Britain". And it has another label at the seam that reads, "Hand woven Harris Tweed, Registered trade mark No 319214, Headear hand woven in Scotland from Scottish grown wool, 100% wool". It has a sticker inside on the lining that reads "ex-large" but it fits quite nicely on medium sized heads. The opening circumference is approx 22"

Harris Tweed is tweed cloth that is handwoven by islanders in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and finished in the Outer Hebrides. Harris Tweed is made from pure virgin wool and is dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides with great craftsmanship.
