A unique piece of mid-century wall art that will be sure to start conversations amongst your guests. It was made in Japan in the 1960's of solid cast brass. The design is that of a royal coat of arms in a German-Nordic heraldry style. The center shield is blank...you could engrave something and personalize it! The shield is surrounded by stylized eagles, crowns, and swords. It is large and heavy and does not lack personality. The back has a universal bracket for easy hanging on any wall and it is marked "JAPAN" by the maker.

Great vintage condition with minor surface wear and patina. No structural damage.
