mid century modern Fred Roberts bar / entertaining set with wine utensils and cheese serving board. This ultra mid century piece was sold by Fred Roberts of San Francisco who manufactured and imported their goods from Japan in the 1950s and 1960s. It is a wooden box that sits on top of four rubber feet and has a ceramic top painted with mid century wine and bar motifs in white, black, and metallic gold. The box opens into a red lined inner drawer that holds four stainless steel and wood tools (bottle opener, cheese knife, cheese fork, and tongs for ice or olives)! The original foil label is still intact on the bottom and reads "Fred Roberts Company, San Francisco, Made In Japan". Perfect to use at your next cocktail party or to give as a gift! Excellent condition with a minor stain on the inner red fabric.
