Topaz, amber, bronze and clear rhinestones, in a triangular dome shaped brooch, are the features in the vintage piece that I recycled with a new natural wood oval back and new magnetic-back clasp.
Once I removed the old rolling C back clasp, I mounted this vintage brooch on the oval wood back to emphasize the natural colors of the original brooch.
As a final step I added a new magnetic-back clasp, which makes this much more secure to wear.
Overall in size this is now 2 inches long by 1 and 1/2 inches wide, at the largest points.
Due to the dome shape of the original vintage brooch, the rise from the base is 1/2 inch.
The metal is antiqued dark gold tone. There are a variety of inset rhinestones, all in shades of topaz, amber, bronze and clear.
You will find many occasions to wear this unique vintage brooch that is in Excellent Vintage condition once it is in your accessory wardrobe.
As a bonus to the new owner, this magnetic-back brooch will arrive with a complimentary scarf, the very one shown in these photos. It is an Echo silk scarf in an abstract print style.
Of course, both the brooch and the scarf are terrific accessories that can be worn often, together or separately.

With your thumb, PUSH and SLIDE the top magnet off the bottom magnet. (DO NOT try to pull them apart because they are too strong.) Remember to always SLIDE.
Position your brooch anywhere convenient on top of your clothing and place the removed magnet beneath your garment and in back of the top magnet. Make sure you have the color-coded portion of the back magnet on the outside of the back. The 2 portions of the magnets will immediately bond together to create a secure attachment.
When you are ready to remove the brooch, remember to use the same technique you used to put it on. Always SLIDE the bottom magnet off.
