1970's deep merlot satin maxi dress by Joy Stevens. This dress is pure drama and romance. Fitted bodice with a drawstring empire waist. Coffin pleated mock neck. THE SLEEVES- they are some of the best that have ever come through my shop and I pride myself on being a "Sleeve Queen". The sleeves are very voluminous and gathered down the arms with elastic. This allows you to puff them as much- or as little- as you like. The effect is just beautiful. A line skirt. No lining. Soft and shimmering opaque satin. Nylon zipper up the back.

Please note- the dress is NOT ombré. The lighting was tricky on this one. It is a consistent tone all the way through.

Model is 40" bust- 29" waist- 42" hips and 5'9" tall

All measurements taken FLAT and doubled

Bust- 38" Measurement taken arm pit to arm pit

This is too tight in the bust for a DD - you will need to be a smaller cup size.

Bodice- 11" Shoulder to Empire Waist

Under bust- to 34" cinches smaller with the drawstring.

Sleeves- 24"

Shoulders- 15"

Hips- 45"

Total Length- 56"

CONDITION

Very Good Condition

-There are some dark marks on the sleeves. This looks like it could be UV damage. The flaws are hidden in the volume of the sleeve and the dimensionality of the satin. Marks shown in last slide.
