1960's red velvet beaded and sequined Cheongsam. This dress is from my personal collection. Red rayon velvet. Small mandarin collar. Fitted throughout with darts at the bust and princess seams. Slits at either sides of the legs. HEAVILY beaded and sequined in gold, aurora borealis, copper, pearls, bugle beads- the works. A Phoenix is perched on the left hip with wings splayed across the bodice. The Phoenix tails curls dramatically the entire length of the skirt. It's really spectacular. The slits are trimmed in bugle beads and sequins. Fully lined in red acetate. Nylon zipper at the back.

CONDITION

Very Good Condition

-some crushed down areas of velvet on the collar and the underarms.

-2 small dark marks on the right hip.

-underarms show wear but its mostly from the velvet being compressed from wear. A good steam might fluff it up.
