Massively huge hand made footed solid brass lidded vessel brazier / temple size incense burner. A brazier (/ˈbreɪʒər/) is a container for hot coals, generally taking the form of an upright standing or hanging metal bowl or box. Used for burning solid fuel, usually charcoal, braziers principally provide heat, but may also be used for cooking and cultural rituals. However, this extremely large beautiful piece could be used purely as decor or storage for whatever you please! It is entirely hand forged from brass and hand hammered with intricate detailing. It sits on three feet and the base has two handles. The lid removes entirely and easily with a hoop handle on the top. The ultimate decor for a mid century, hollywood regency home or meditation / yoga room! Excellent condition with beautiful aged patina that can be left or polished.
