Another unusual piece from Canadian designer Marie Saint Pierre is a "shawl with sleeves," for lack of a better word. The crinkled polyester is technically a plisse fabric, although that term is most often associated with permanent micro pleats. The jacket has a shawl collar and lapels in front. The jacket is longer in back with sides that are longer than the center of the back. Very easy to care for - just wash on gentle and hang to dry, and the crinkles will be retained. Labeled size M. (It was included in a large lot of designer clothes from a Canadian collector whose sizes were mostly 8 and 10.) The width between the underarms across the back is 25".
