Black rhinestones form a snowflake or star shape in this vintage metal brooch, for a design that can be worn year round. It is even more useful now because I made it into a magnetic-back brooch. I removed the old rolling c type back clasp and mounted the brooch on a white metal backing that is accented by more rhinestones. As a final step, for the new clasp I used a magnetic back clasp that makes it much easier and more secure to wear.

The overall size is 1 and 1/2 inches and the rise from the base is 1/3 inch.

This magnet will hold this brooch to your garment, handbag, scarf, or virtually where ever you want it to be, that is, until you choose to remove it. Because of the options offered by the magnet vs. the traditional pin holder normally used on brooches, this brooch can be worn on many types of garments or even hats.
