For this magnetic-back brooch I used a vintage red white and blue enamel swirl design that I added to a silver tone metal backing. The colors are traditional the style is classic and the magnetic-back clasp makes it contemporary and so easy to wear.

In size this brooch is 2 inches long by 1 inch wide.

Of course this brooch with its versatile magnetic back that will keep the brooch secure wherever you put it can be worn in any direction you choose.

Firmly attached to the back of the magnetic-back brooch is a very strong magnet that will hold this brooch to your garment handbag scarf or virtually where ever you want it to be that is until you choose to remove it. Because of the options offered by the magnet vs. the traditional pin holder normally used on brooches this brooch can be worn in any direction.

This size is just right to wear as the accent on a V in your dress or on a tee shirt jacket lapel or even a hat band.

The magnetic backs are easy to use:
With your thumb PUSH and SLIDE the top magnet off the bottom magnet. (DO NOT try to pull them apart because they are too strong.) Remember to always SLIDE.
Position your brooch anywhere convenient on top of your clothing and place the removed magnet beneath your garment and in back of the top magnet. Make sure you have the color-coded portion of the back magnet on the outside of the back. The 2 portions of the magnets will immediately bond together to create a secure attachment.
When you are ready to remove the brooch remember to use the same technique you used to put it on. Always SLIDE the bottom magnet off.
