Beautiful and intriguing. A 5 strand 25” liquid silver necklace and pendant in sterling silver. There is a design made by cut outs in the pendant. I’ve done a little research and it seems these old pendants were made from colorful pieces of butterfly wings. Of course I can’t substantiate that - it may be done other material. The effect is interesting as well as the subject. It seems a shaman or maybe a chief is making an offering. What do you see?

There is a bit of tarnish present and surface scuffs consistent with age and use. There are makers marks on the inside of the bale. Hard to make out but I can see the Mexican eagle stamp , Mexico and another name - possibly Sarita.
