Hand made silk haori jacket. Hand stitched in Japan as is the tradition for these authentic jackets. I believe the fabric is shibori dyed, but it does have a marbled look, forming watercolor like clouds or perhaps stripes. The colors are: light blue, slate blue, white and peach. The off white silk lining has a geometric design, plus stylized flowers such as waterlilies that have a very slight peach sheen. Traditional haori shape with kimono sleeves, openings under the arms and gussets in the side seams. Very beautiful piece in unused condition.
