Sassy late 90’s little black dress is fitted and flared and designed with princess lines, seven panels, and a surprise in the back. The dress has a back 2-button closure complete with bound buttonholes and a deep-V open back. Fully lined, the quality construction and textured fabric are signature Steven Stolman.
Steven Stolman worked for decades for designers Pauline Trigere (his mentor) and Albert and Pearl Nipon and also helped relaunch the Lilly Pulitzer collection in 1993. In 1995, he opened his own store in Southampton. His love for home furnishings fabrics and his distaste for the raging popularity of what he called dark, lifeless, microfiber clothing, he sought out fabrics that were built to last decades not just a season.
