If you prefer neutrals and stripes rather than color and florals, this pencil skirt and matching vest will not disappoint. The cotton fabric (feels like poplin) is a mix of a black, rusty brown, gray and an ever-so-slight hint of olive vertical stripes and accented nicely with horizontal and vertical striping on the pocketing detail and horizontal striping on the vest bottom band. The interesting faux side flap on the pocket extends to the off-centered kick pleat, and the skirt closes on the side with a metal zipper and button on the waistband. The tunic-styled, blouson vest has a V-neck. five-button front closure and banded finish. Buttoned up, the set appears to be a drop-waist dress. Always a bonus with a set, wear it together or pair it with other pieces in your closet!
