The oversize woven houndstooth on this late-50’s - early 60’s box jacket make it more striking. Styled with faux flap front pockets and trimmed in solid deep camel woven trim are details that just add to its timeless, classic look. Popular during this time period, the sleeves are ¾ length; the jacket is fully lined in off-white silk taffeta. The weave of the jacket appears to be a blend of rayon and cotton, rayon and silk, or possibly a combination of all three making it a great transitional piece, or perfect for a climate that is not suitable for wool.
