This large and fluffy, black fox fur muff from the 1950s or early 1960s will keep your hands warm, while you look incredibly chic! The fur muff is lined with black acetate satin, and has a braided cord loop strap for carrying it. Inside, there is a zipped compartment, allowing for its possible use as a handbag substitute. (The inner pocket is about the size of a small evening bag, as far as capacity, with a 6" long metal zipper.) This authentic vintage fox fur muff is in very good condition, with just the faintest hint of purplish fading to the fur at the edges of the round hand openings, unlikely to be noticed when it is carried. The silky fox fur itself is in nice condition, with no shedding or significant dryness, it was well stored by the original owner, no doubt. The muff would look particularly fabulous with a princess-style coat, we think!
