Very nice brass finished 8 x 6 inch metal box with a handle and lock latch. Cool octagon shape with perforated holes and stamped 58 on the back. Fun deco piece and also useful, have found it called a trinket box, cricket box but I think it might have been meant to hold potpourri. You could a little brass luggage lock if you want to.

In good condition, some color loss near the front bottom edge, please see all photos. Also previous owner felted the little ball style feet, I got most of this off but some residue from this still remains on some. Has a nice shabby look.
