1980's black velvet smocked jacket by Bis Bis. Gene Ewing, the designer for Bis Bis, made some fabulous clothes in the 80's. I have had several pieces pass through my hands over the years and I think their genius if often overlooked. This is a wonderful jacket. Black rayon velvet elastic smocked with stretch. Padded squared off shoulders. Long sleeves. The neckline, down the front and along the hem is trimmed in black floral flocked velvet. Boxy shape that looks great belted. My belt is not included. No lining.
