Well used antique bridging book by Chester Albert Reed who created the original field guides starting in 1905. This is the Land Birds Bird Guide: Song and Insectivorous Birds East of the Rockies edition, published I believe in 1909. It includes over 200 color illustrations and was designed to fit into your pocket. A treasure for any bird lover but could also be used for art material or junk journaling.

In fair antique condition with definite signs of wear and age. The front cover piece has become detached and the title page is missing. It starts at the preface and there are some notations through out the book, one shown is dated to 1917. In the back the previous owners also glued a small clipping. I like to think all this adds charm and history.
