Fall and Winter wear ready, featuring a rich aubergine deep purple Santana knit, this vintage long sleeve high neck dress is fabulously Fabrikant with that iconic Steve Fabrikant style. Knee length, it has a mock turtleneck, an elasticized waist and the Fabrikant touches of matte gold tone decorative buttons at the cuffs.

The size label shows this is a size Petite, which is what his design house used for Small, however refer to the measurements below to make sure it will fit you.

Shoulder to shoulder is 16 inches.
Sleeves are 22 inches.
Bust is 34 and 1/2 inches.
Elastic waist is 25 to 34 inches.
Hip is 38 inches.
Full length is 36 and 1/2 inches.

As a bonus to the new owner this knit dress will come with the scarf shown in these photos. The scarf is a square with the same aubergine color as part of the design.

The fabric content is the typical santana knit, with a mix of 70% wool and 30% rayon.

Made in the USA, this knit must be dry cleaned. It comes to you fresh from being cleaned, ready for you to wear.

With a high rounded neck, no built-in shoulder pads and a back zipper, this is a dress that is easy to love. As you can see, this Fabrikant knit dress is in Very Good Vintage condition with no stains, holes, odors or unraveling.

Most vintage fashion lovers know that Steve Fabrikant started his career working for St. John Knits and then went off to set up his own very successful company. He used the same type of santana knit fabric to good advantage, plus added his own personal flashy touches of large motif buttons and quirky fun designs.

Please remember that this Steve Fabrikant dress could be over 40 years old and although it has been well cared for, it is not new.
