This KING EDWARD VIII CORONATION PLATE Was Made by WH GRINDLEY & Co Ltd. in Turnstall, Staffordshire, England. A Creampetal Plate, It is Decorated with a Portrait of the WOULD BE KING in his Crown, and Features the Date on Which His Coronation was Scheduled, May 12, 1937. This Antique Plate was produced prior to Edward's decision to abdicate the throne for love!
