Antique edition of Illustrated Scripture Narratives for the Young Vol. III published by Carson & Simpson in the late 1800s, probably 1888. It was first published in the 1860s and the style of it is pure Victorian. It includes beautiful steel engravings and a gold edged paper.

It also has a lovely embossed cover, the spine dis as well which I believe was leather but has deteriorated with age. The rest of the book is in good antique condition with some signs of age and wear, most notably a name in the front and a tear to the first end page. Please see all photos.
