I Magnin at its finest! This is a stunning full-length opera coat. The coat features three large buttons that fasten the empire bodice; 3/4 length sleeves, the coat is fully lined in soft pink. The color is somewhere between red and hot pink. The fabric is heavy and reminiscent of shantung silk. The front of the coat has two pockets hidden on the princess seams. There are some defects but nothing that couldn't be corrected! The hem show signs of wear on the inside and bottom of the hem - please see pictures - but this is not noticeable. I have replaced the three covered buttons originally found on the garment with three Mother of Pearl buttons (the original buttons were starting to fray) and have reinforced the button holes. The defect on the fabric at the hem could easily be mitigated by heming the coat.
