Huichol Beaded Wood Box 50s

Incredible multi color wood beaded box was handmade by the Huichol tribe. The colors on the box are so vibrant and beautiful! The top of the box has a floral pattern. The box opens up with a blue color on the top and hinged opening.

This handmade box is in good condition.

***There are a few areas of beads missing from the corners please see photos.

The Huichol tribe are Indigenous people of Mexico, located deep in the mountains of Central Mexico. The last tribe in North America to have maintained Pre -Columbian traditions. Their Shamans and healers still practice today as they have for generations, therefore they are people of the earth.
