Really nice little first printing of this Dell pocket edition of How to Draw and Paint by Henry Martin Gasser. His credit is on the copyright page and he was a very well know artist and educator. See his bio from the Smithsonian website in the photos.

It is full of beautiful images both color and black and white and I especially love the back cover. I think this would be a wonderful gift for any artist, more for the retro beauty of it then as a practical guide, though I am sure it has a lot of great info.

It is in good overall condition, some pages are starting to come away a bit from the binding, so it is a bit delicate.
