Five strands of bronze faux pearl beads form the sides of this vintage Heidi Daus choker. It features a spectacular center element of inset Swarovski crystals. At 2 and 1/2 inch long by 1 and 1/4 inch high, it is a stunning design. The coordinating hinged bangle bracelet repeats the colors of the choker. Victorian-inspired in style, it is a combination of the crystal colors of purple, pastel blue, apple green, pink and copper inset in bronze tone metal.
At the back of the choker there is a hook style clasp. Two rows of tiny apple green crystals are inset into the sides of the back, another display of the attention to detail in this necklace.
The 4 inch long chain enhancer is accented with a small round ball inset with tiny apple green Swarovski crystals. One of those tiny crystals has been lost over time. Thankfully it is in the back, so you may be the only one to ever notice this. However, if you want to have it replaced, I understand that the Heidi Daus company accepts items back to replace any lost crystals.
For the bracelet the hinged style makes it an easy-on, easy-off design. As you can see in the detail photos the colors in the bracelet mimic the crystal colors in the choker and there is one bronze faux pearl in the front center.
Authentic Heidi Daus, this is one of her iconic choker sets, a must-have for anyone who adores wearing and collecting her jewelry designs.
In total length this choker itself is 11 and 1/2 inches long. The center design element is 2 and 1/2 inches wide by 1 and 1/4 inches in height. The enhancer will add up to 4 more inches to the total length of the choker, so it can be worn by many women.
Overall this set is in Excellent Vintage Condition, with no major issues at all to report. The one minor issue is the missing small apple green crystal in the back.
As you can see in the photos, the metal is completely untarnished and all of the beads are well strung. The small shiny inset crystals are intact and remain shiny.
When I purchased this choker, the original owner had a personal collection of Heidi Daus necklaces, necklace sets, hinged bracelets and rings that she purchased and had worn over the years. Her family sold them all to me in an Estate Sale. I will be researching and listing these items over time.
