Pretty old hat pin. Its a teardrop shape that was once painted black but most of the black has worn off leaving a pretty smoky brown which I think is more lovely than the black would have been frankly. Set on a silver tone shaft. My best guess as to the age of this is sometime around the 40s, though I am not sure. It is certainly quite old. Measures just shy of 3. 25" long. Head is firmly attached.

Excellent vintage condition. Apart from the worn off black paint, the only thing to note is some tarnish to the shaft.
