Very nice First Edition of Handicrafts of New England by Allen H. Eaton, published in 1949. It is a comprehensive survey of all the handicrafts practiced in the six New England states durring that period. It also discusses the work of hundreds of different craftspeople and includes interesting profiles about these talented artisans. A wonderful Mid Century time capsule of the art and culture of New England.

In very good vintage condition with the original dust cover. Does have some shelf wear, there is nick on the top left edge of the cover and other minor signs of wear and age.
