Another velvety Gunne Sax beauty! Phenomenal 80s dress with gorgeous neckline and gold jacquard skirt. Fit and flare silhouette with that amazing vintage corset style front. Princess seams and dropped basque waistline. A bit of tulle underneath skirt for volume. Top is really special with keyhole twisted halter neckline and rhinestone encrusted gold button detail at collar. Double button closure at nape of neck. Back zipper. The top is black velvet but has faded to a gorgeous oxblood at the neck. Gives a sort of ombre effect in the light that is so striking. Other than the fading (which I don't even consider a flaw, it's gorgeous!) it is in excellent vintage condition. 🖤
