Vintage 60s Skirt and Top Set by Alice Kaye - Union made in USA between 1955-1963
The original owner of this suit wore it on her honeymoon in 1963.
Soft wool material with delightful floral accent. Neither piece is lined. Dry clean only. Skirt has nylon zipper/button closure. Jacket is open in front, no closures.
Vintage size 13 - Approx 34 27 36 - Approx Modern S - Model is 5'10" US S/4
Jacket is 21" long. Measures 18" across from underarm to underarm when laid flat so 34" bust. 16" shoulder. 3/4 Sleeves are 18" long from shoulder.
Skirt has 27" maximum fitted waist, 36" hip, 25" long. These are the measurements of the garment.
This set is in nice shape. Obviously well taken care of.
Flaws: See photo of side seam on skirt - 4 pen tip size holes - do not go all the way through material. Fabric is gently worn with very mild fuzz and pilling.
