Size 16 Vintage B. Altman & Co Formal Dress in a beautiful Steel Blue Gray with Silver Beaded Sequin detail at the neckline! A Lovely Flowy Drape on this Plus size gem, it falls mid calf on my 5'5" frame. B. Altman on Fifth Avenue in New York was the epitome of fancy back in the day and this treasure was made in the USA. Shoulder pads, cap sleeves, a diagonal overlay drape on this lightweight babe. Silver Bugle beads and sequins round the crew neck with a beautiful flower and leaf detail at the side. There's a back zip with buttons on the overlay drape on top. What a stunner for a wedding or formal event! The size tag notes a size 16 but please double check your measurements against those I've carefully taken below prior to ordering to ensure a proper fit (Pay attention to that Hip ... which would bring it down to a smaller size from 16 I believe!) In beautiful vintage condition with all beads intact and accounted for. Toss on a fabulous wide belt to bring this up to speed!
